About AI Browser Automation Pro

AI Browser Automation Pro puts an agent in your browser's side panel. Pick a model, describe the job, and it works on the page beside you: it reads the page, clicks, types, chooses options, fills forms, replies to customer inquiries and applies the same change across many rows. It can also research in other tabs, read attached PDFs and spreadsheets, and create or edit images.

You decide where the model runs. LM Studio and Ollama on your own computer are preconfigured, so with a local model nothing leaves your machine. Cloud providers such as Google Gemini, OpenRouter, Groq, Mistral, DeepSeek and xAI connect with your own API key, as does any service with a compatible chat-completions endpoint.

By default the agent asks before anything that changes a page, such as clicking, typing, uploading, downloading or running a script. Jobs keep running when you close the panel, a queue and a batch tool let you line up hundreds of items, and memory keeps a progress note for long jobs and remembers facts you want kept, for one site or everywhere.

An optional companion program extends the agent to your computer: terminal sessions, files, the clipboard, desktop apps on macOS and Linux, and local MCP servers. Every computer-tool call asks for your approval. The companion can also open a secure tunnel so another browser or app can use the models on your home or office machine.

What is in the bundle?
Ready-to-install packages for Chrome and the other Chromium browsers (Edge, Brave and Opera) and for Firefox, the companion program for computer tools and remote access, the full source code, and all future updates.
Do I need a paid AI subscription?
No. You can run everything locally with LM Studio or Ollama. If you prefer a cloud model, you add your own API key and pay that provider directly. For best results use a model trained for tool calling with a context window of at least 16k tokens, ideally 32k.
Which browser versions are supported, and how do I install it?
Chrome 116 or later and Chromium browsers of the same age, or Firefox 128 or later. In Chromium browsers you turn on Developer mode on the extensions page and drag in the package. Firefox Developer Edition, Nightly and ESR keep it installed permanently; standard Firefox loads it as a temporary add-on unless you sign your own copy.
Where is my data stored?
Chats, attached files and saved memories stay in your browser profile on your computer. Page content goes only to the model you configured, and API keys are sent only to the matching provider.
Can I change the extension?
Yes. The full source code is included, so you can adapt prompts, tools and the interface to your own work. The Source License page explains what else you may do with the code.
